Every ending has a new beginning, and for me, my life is taking a huge turn. I'm currently still in Corpus Christi, and will be here until the weekend of January 9th. After that, I will be heading up to Indiana, with my 3 cats and a truck full of the past 5 years of my life.
Most of you know, I am moving to Indiana to start my life as an ICU Nurse. I have been searching and searching, and have finally been given an offer to start in January! I'm verrrry excited, and I can't wait to start this amazing journey in my life. I will only be 10 miles away from my sister, and I can officially be close to my nephews and watch them grow up!
I haven't found an apartment yet, but I'm flying up to Indiana the week after new years to find a nice place. I've looked at a few places, and have them narrowed down to 3. They are only 3-4 miles from work, and I'll be close to a lot of cool places to eat, go out, and other entertainment.
As for my crazy adventure in Corpus, and the best 3 years of my life, I'm going to miss this place tremendously. Without my crazy nursing family, I would have NEVER gotten through nursing school. I'm so glad I was blessed with such an amazing group of people in my life. I can't believe it's almost over (2 weeks left here), and i'll be moving over 1000 miles away.
C' est la vie!
Lauren! you almost made me cry!
ReplyDeleteI know you have waited a long time to find your dream job and I am so happy that you finally found it. Everything happens for a reason and if God made you wait then it was because he had something big for you. I am so proud of you and I am glad I got to meet you and be part of our AMAZING nursing family! I love you and I can assure you we will all be visiting you up there!!!
